Die Schlacht bei Montenaken, am 20. Oktober 1465, fand bei Montenaken statt und ist Teil der
Lütticher Kriege.
Die Lütticher waren mit der Politik des Fürstbischofs Ludwig von Bourbon, der Philipp dem Guten mit Unterstützung des Papstes als Fürstbischof des Fürstbistums Lüttich eingesetzt hatte, unzufrieden. Die Unruhen nahmen zu und 1465 brach der Erste Lütticher Krieg aus. Die Burgunder, unter der Führung von Philipps Sohn Karl, Herzog von Charolais, besiegten die Lütticher, angeführt von Raes von Heers, in Montenaken. 1800 der 4000 Lütticher fielen. Nach der Schlacht besetzte Karl die Stadt Sint-Truiden.
