Die Lange Vaag liegt an der Nordgrenze des Naturschutzgebiets De Stropers, auf dem Gebiet der Gemeinde Sint-Gillis-Waas. Das Reservat besteht aus etwa 2 Hektar alten Flachsacker, der derzeit als Unkrautacker bewirtschaftet wird. Jährlich wird abwechselnd die Hälfte gepflügt. Die gesamte Fläche wird im August kurzfristig beweidet.
