Die orientierte neogotische Kreuzbasilika von 1852-1853 mit integrierter spätgotischer Turm von etwa 1500 befindet sich östlich des Marktes, gleich hinter dem ehemaligen Rathaus. Der ursprünglich umgebende Friedhof verfiel und wurde durch eine Grünfläche ersetzt, die unter anderem das Denkmal für den Bauernkrieg und das Denkmal für die Gefallenen des Ersten Weltkriegs umfasst.
