Heindonk ist ein Teilgemeinde von Willebroek (Provinz Antwerpen). Möglicherweise reicht seine Geschichte bis zu einer Siedlung entlang des Heerwegs von Bavai - Utrecht zurück. Aber Heindonk wurde erst 1803 eine selbstständige Pfarrei. In 'Heindonk' erkennen wir das Wort 'donk', ein geografischer Begriff, der sich auf eine höhere Sanddüne in einem tiefgelegenen und feuchten Talgebiet bezieht. Heindonk ist überall von Wasser umgeben, mit den Flüssen Rupel (im Norden) und Dijle (im Osten) und mit den großen Wassersportteichen 'Hazewinkel' und 'De Bocht' (im Westen und Südwesten). Dieser Spaziergang führt dich entlang eines Teiches, einer Wiese und einem kleinen Wald zu den alten Landdünen.
