Heindonk es una pedanía de Willebroek (provincia de Amberes). Su historia posiblemente se remonta a un asentamiento a lo largo del camino de Bavai a Utrecht. Sin embargo, Heindonk solo se convirtió en parroquia independiente en 1803. En 'Heindonk' reconocemos la palabra 'donk', un término geográfico que se refiere a una cresta de arena situada en una zona baja y húmeda del valle. Heindonk está rodeado de agua por todas partes, con los ríos Rupel (al norte) y Dijle (al este) y con los grandes estanques de deportes acuáticos 'Hazewinkel' y 'De Bocht' (al oeste y suroeste). Esta caminata te lleva junto a un estanque, un prado y un pequeño bosquecillo hacia la antigua duna de tierra.
