So genanntes "Alte Haus", an der Ecke zur Sint-Laureinsesteenweg. Ehemaliges Haus der Familie Standaert, neben ihrer Fabrik für chemische Düngemittel und Superphosphat. Désiré und Adolphe Standaert waren auch die Förderer für die Gründung der eigenständigen Pfarrei von Balgerhoeke und den Bau einer neuen Pfarrkirche. Die Kirche, eingeweiht im Jahr 1906, wurde auf Grund und mit der Unterstützung der Familie Standaert erbaut. Das Wohnhaus wurde während des Ersten und Zweiten Weltkriegs zerstört und 1941 nach dem Entwurf des Architekten E.F. Callebaut wiederaufgebaut, siehe Gedenktafel an der Fassade mit der Inschrift: "Altes Haus/ zerstört Oktober 1918 + Mai 1940/ wiederhergestellt November 1919 + November 1941/ am 10. Juni 1941 wurde/ von Frau Margareta Standaert/ der erste Stein gelegt/ Architekt E.F. Callebaut".
