Café namens "'t Veerhuis". Ehemalige Herberge und Fähre, Wohnsitz des Fährmanns von “Appels Veer”, gelegen neben dem Scheldeveer und mit der Rückseite an der Scheldedijk angrenzend. In dem "Ommelooper ende Terrier ofte Land und caerteboek der Prochie van Berlaere" von 1773-1786 als Hofstätte von Leonardus De Graeve an der "kele" oder dem Kil von Appels Veer angegeben, schräg gegenüber der Herberge namens St. Marten, ebenfalls damaliger Besitz von Leonardus De Graeve. Laut Katasterdaten zu Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts umgebaut und damals auch mit einem Stockwerk erhöht (siehe alte Postkarten). Derzeit zugehörig zur Taverne "De Waterhoek" (Nummer 23).
