Café soprannominato "'t Veerhuis". Ex locanda e casa per traghetti, residenza del traghettatore di “Appels Veer” situata accanto al traghetto Schelde e con il lato posteriore contro il dike di Schelde. Nella "Ommelooper ende Terrier ofte Land en caerteboek der Prochie van Berlaere" del 1773-1786 è indicata come fattoria di Leonardus De Graeve presso il "kele" o il canale di Appels Veer, situata diagonalmente di fronte alla locanda chiamata St. Marten, anch'essa allora di proprietà di Leonardus De Graeve. Secondo i dati catastali, all'inizio del 20° secolo è stata ristrutturata e aumentata di un piano (vedi vecchie cartoline). Attualmente associata alla Taverna "De Waterhoek" (numero 23).
