Die Kazandmolen ist die einzige erhaltene Mühle auf dem Gebiet von Roeselare. Ursprünglich war es eine Holzmühle, die 1773 erbaut wurde, um Öl zu stampfen. Nach einer turbulenten Geschichte von Abbrüchen, Wiederaufbau und Umbauten erhielt die Mühle 1813 ihr heutiges Ziegelstein-Aussehen. Eine kürzliche Restaurierung sorgte dafür, dass die Mühle wieder das Landschaftsbild in voller Pracht dominiert.
