Description

Bedehuischen, geweiht der Heiligen Maria, Bewahrung der Kranken, auch manchmal das Kapellechen von Doktor Gielen genannt, da er, in Fortsetzung einer Familientradition, bis zu seinem Tod 1978 für das Bedehuis sorgte. Seine Urgroßeltern, H.M. Tielen und M.A. Schoofs, waren die vermutlichen Bauherren zwischen 1777 und 1819, da die Kapelle auf der Ferraris-Karte (1771-77) noch nicht verzeichnet ist, jedoch auf den primitiven Katasterplänen von Eksel, nämlich auf der Sammelkarte von 1819.
