Das aktuelle Bahnhofsgebäude wurde 1981 nach Plänen des Architekten Philip Tibax erbaut. Die Schalter sind endgültig geschlossen. Das Gebäude wird derzeit als Kinderkrippe genutzt. Ende 2009, Anfang 2010 wurde der Bahnhof umfassend renoviert. Die Bahnsteige wurden auf die neue Standardhöhe angepasst, was das Einsteigen erleichtern soll. Auch die Beleuchtung und die Warteshäuschen wurden gründlich erneuert.
