In der Famenne, etwa 2 km südöstlich von Houyet, wird dieser ehemalige Eisenbahntunnel derzeit von dem Radweg genutzt, der diese Ortschaft mit Jemelle verbindet. Er wurde in einen Schieferhügel gegraben und mit einer Länge von fast 500 Metern ist das Mikroklima im Inneren des Bauwerks besonders stabil. Diese günstigen Bedingungen, zusammen mit der Anwesenheit zahlreicher Risse und Unebenheiten, ermöglichen die Winterruhe mehrerer Fledermausarten, darunter der seltene Wimpernfledermaus (Myotis emarginatus).
