Situato in Famenne, a circa 2 km a sud-est di Houyet, questo antico tunnel ferroviario è attualmente utilizzato dalla pista ciclabile che collega questa località a Jemelle. È stato scavato in una collina di scisto e, con una lunghezza di quasi 500 metri, il microclima all'interno dell'opera è particolarmente stabile. Queste condizioni favorevoli, associate alla presenza di numerose fessure e asperità, favoriscono l'ibernazione di diverse specie di pipistrelli, tra cui il raro vespertillo a orecchie bilobate (Myotis emarginatus).
