Lucien Meyer war Mitautor der Widerstandsgruppe Nationale Königliche Bewegung. Als das Gerücht aufkam, dass die VNV die Macht in Aarschot übernehmen würde, zeigte die NKB am zweiten Ostertag 1941 eine naive Machtdemonstration. Dies sollte sie teuer zu stehen kommen. Am 13. September 1941 wurde Meyer verhaftet und gefoltert. Er starb am 26. März 1944 in Essen infolge eines Luftangriffs.
