Zevendonk ist ein Dorf von Turnhout in den Antwerper Kempen, gelegen zwischen der Stadt selbst (die durch die Autobahn E34 vom Stadtzentrum abgeschnitten ist), Oud-Turnhout, Kasterlee, Lichtaart und Tielen. Dieses nach Oud-Turnhout älteste Dorf der Stadt Turnhout zählt nun etwa 2000 Seelen, was ungefähr 600 Familien entspricht. Seit 1694 besitzt das Dorf Zevendonk eine eigene Kirche. Es folgten tumultartige Jahre und nach einem Kampf, bei dem die Dorfbewohner den Befehl des damaligen Kapitels ignorierten und ihren eigenen Priester bezahlten, kam die Zeit Napoleons, in der Zevendonk eines der fünf Hilfsdörfer der Hauptkirche von Sint-Pieter war.
