Der Name der Statue ist der ‘Vaartkapoen’ und das ist ein veralteter Schimpfname für Dockarbeiter. Der Kapoen gibt Agent 15 ein Beinchen. Hinter diesem harmlosen Scherz verbirgt sich eine raue Realität. Während des industriellen Höhepunkts von Molenbeek brachen regelmäßig Proteste für bessere Lohn- und Arbeitsbedingungen aus. Anstatt der Polizei ein Bein zu stellen, wurde ernsthaft gegen sie gekämpft, was die Regierung dazu brachte, entlang des Kanals eine Gendarmeriekaserne zu bauen. Heutzutage ist diese ehemalige Kaserne als Klein Kasteeltje bekannt.
