17.000 Weinstöcke wurden seit 2016 im sandhaltigen Lehmboden gepflanzt. Besonders Pinot Auxerrois, Chardonnay und Pinot Noir. Valke Vleug ist ein Projekt des Unternehmers Jan Van Lancker, unterstützt von Winzer Pieter Raeymaekers. An das Anwesen ist Vinetiq, eine Online-Boutique für 'Cool Climate'-Weine, angeschlossen. Spitzenkoch Viki Geunes vom mit drei Michelin-Sternen ausgezeichneten Restaurant Het Zilte wählte den Standort, um dort im Mai 2021 für 330 Personen ein sechsgängiges Menü zu kochen.
