Auf dem Kirchhof von Braibant gilt diese kleine Kapelle als Grabstätte von lokalem historischem Interesse , da hier eine berühmte Person begraben liegt.
Jean-Baptiste Julien d'Omalius d'Halloy, geboren 1783 und gestorben 1875 im Alter von 91 Jahren, ist bekannt und wird von seinen Kollegen als die erste Person anerkannt, die das französische Kaiserreich geologisch kartiert hat.
Er spielte auch eine wichtige politische Rolle auf lokaler Ebene ( Bürgermeister von Skeuvre und dann Braibant), auf Provinzebene und dann auf nationaler Ebene ( Gouverneur der Provinz Namur, Staatsrat, Senator, erster Vizepräsident des Senats).
