Das Bahnhofsgebäude in Staden kann von jedem gemietet werden: Vereinen, Privatpersonen (als Einzelperson) und kommerziell (Organisation mit Gewinnabsicht).
Während des Ersten Weltkriegs wurde Bahnlinie 63 genutzt, um Munition an die Frontlinie nach Ypern zu transportieren. Während des Krieges wurde das Bahnhofsgebäude für den Personentransport zerstört [2]. Das heutige Gebäude diente als Lagerraum für Waren, die per Bahn angeliefert wurden.
Heute gehört das Gebäude der Gemeinde Staden und wird als multifunktionale Halle an die Einwohner vermietet [3]. In Höhe des Bahnhofsgebäudes ist die Vrijbosroute unterbrochen und die originalen Gleise sind noch sichtbar. Radfahrer müssen einen kleinen Umweg machen, um weiter fahren zu können.
