Le bâtiment de la gare à Staden peut être loué par tout le monde : associations, particuliers et commerciaux (organisations à but lucratif).
Pendant la Première Guerre mondiale, la ligne 63 a été utilisée pour transporter des munitions vers le front à Ypres. Pendant la guerre, le bâtiment de la gare dédié au transport de passagers a été détruit[2]. Le bâtiment actuel a servi d'espace de stockage pour les marchandises transportées par rail.
Aujourd'hui, le bâtiment appartient à la commune de Staden et est loué comme salle polyvalente aux habitants[3]. Au niveau du bâtiment de la gare, le Vrijbosroute est interrompu et les rails d'origine sont encore visibles. Les cyclistes doivent faire un petit détour pour continuer à pédaler.
