Dieses Denkmal auf dem Platz zwischen der Avenue Henri Paris und der Avenue Leray wurde 1960 eingeweiht.
Es besteht aus einem viereckigen Sockel auf einer Stufe, signiert vom Architekten Marcel Tock , und einer Bronzebüste, einem Werk von Stella Laurent. Es zeichnet sich durch seine große formale Nüchternheit aus.
Diese Büste ist eine Hommage an Albert I., König der Belgier von 1909 bis 1934, während einer für Belgien ereignisreichen Zeit, einschließlich der Turbulenzen des Ersten Weltkriegs. Auf der Büste wird darauf hingewiesen, dass der König seinen charakteristischen Adrian-Helm trägt.
