Einer Legende zufolge wurden an dieser Stelle früher alte Pferde , die nicht länger von Nutzen waren, in die Tiefe geworfen, in Wirklichkeit waren es jedoch die Kadaver toter Pferde – und nicht lebender Tiere –, die von diesem Felsen geworfen und den gierigen Wildtieren als Beute überlassen wurden.
