Dieses Steinkreuz steht in der Nähe der Brücke über die Schlucht und markiert die Stelle, an der im Jahr 1808 der 44-jährige Onulphe Joseph Collard , ein Anwohner, bei einem tragischen Sturz ums Leben kam.
Die als Puits des Vaux oder Trou Collard bekannte Stelle liegt etwa 30 Meter tief. Es gibt keine urkundlichen Belege dafür, dass Joseph Collard in den Brunnen gefallen ist. Es wird lediglich erwähnt, dass er dort einen tödlichen Unfall erlitt, daher der Spitzname „Trou Collard“ und die Errichtung eines Kreuzes zu seinem Gedenken.
