Der Blick über den Kwacht von der Baumstammbank auf der Landdüne gehört zu den schönsten, was Meerhout zu bieten hat. Die Fauna und Flora in dieser nassen Senke ist reich. Der Mäusebussard 'miaut' fast zu jeder Tageszeit als geflügelter Wächter hoch über dem Kwacht.
