Der Simplonpass ist ein Alpenpass im Wallis. Es hat eine Höhe von 2.008 Metern und ist das ganze Jahr über geöffnet. Es ist ein wesentlicher Bestandteil der Nationalstraße H9, die von Brig nach Stresa in Italien führt.
Die Straße wurde zwischen 1801 und 1805 von dem von Napoleon Bonaparte gesponserten Ingenieur Nicolas Céard gebaut, um eine Passage für seine Artillerie zu öffnen.
