Münchringen war eine politische Gemeinde im Verwaltungskreis Bern-Mittelland des Kantons Bern in der Schweiz. Am 1. Januar 2014 fusionierte Münchringen mit der ehemaligen Gemeinde Scheunen zur Gemeinde Jegenstorf.
Münchringen liegt auf 522 m ü. M., zwölf Kilometer nordnordöstlich der Kantonshauptstadt Bern . Das Dorf erstreckt sich auf einem Moränenhügel östlich der Urtenen, am nördlichen Rand des Molassehügellandes zwischen Bern und dem Emmental, im Schweizer Mittelland.
