Kreuzlingen ist eine politische Gemeinde und der Hauptort des gleichnamigen Bezirkes des Schweizer Kantons Thurgau.
Von 1927 bis 2002 war Kreuzlingen eine Einheitsgemeinde.
Kreuzlingen ist mit rund 22'000 Einwohnern die zweitgrösste Stadt des Kantons und die grösste Schweizer Stadt am Bodensee. Zusammen mit der deutschen Nachbarstadt Konstanz und den kleineren Nachbargemeinden bildet die Grenzstadt eine Agglomeration von rund 130'000 Einwohnern. Mit 55,0 Prozent Ausländern gehört Kreuzlingen zu den Schweizer Städten mit dem höchsten Ausländeranteil.
