Das Kernkraftwerk Beznau, kurz KKB, befindet sich auf dem Gebiet der Gemeinde Döttingen auf der künstlichen Aare-Insel Beznau.

Das KKB besteht aus zwei identischen Blöcken mit Druckwasserreaktoren von Westinghouse mit je 365 MW elektrischer Leistung. Gekühlt wird mit Wasser aus der Aare. Das Kernkraftwerk erzeugt rund 5 Milliarden kWh Elektrizität pro Jahr und versorgt – mit einem Teil der Abwärme – über die Refuna acht umliegende Gemeinden mit rund 170 Millionen kWh Fernwärme pro Jahr. Beide Kernreaktoren zählen zu den dienstältesten der Welt.
