Kabelsketal ist eine Gemeinde im Saalekreis in Sachsen-Anhalt. Sie entstand am 1. Januar 2004 aus dem freiwilligen Zusammenschluss der Gemeinden Dieskau, Dölbau, Gröbers und Großkugel.
Der Bach Kabelske, zum Einzugsgebiet der Weißen Elster gehörend, ist namensgebend für die Gemeinde.
Bürgermeister der Gemeinde war von 2004 bis 2018 Kurt Hambacher. Er wurde am 12. September 2004 erstmals in dieses Amt gewählt und im März 2011 mit 63,2 % der Stimmen wiedergewählt. Am 29. April 2018 wurde Steffen Kunnig in einer Stichwahl mit 71,33 % der Stimmen zum neuen Bürgermeister der Gemeinde Kabelsketal gewählt.
