Geroldshausen ist eine Gemeinde im unterfränkischen Landkreis Würzburg und ein Mitglied der Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Kirchheim.
Die erste urkundliche Erwähnung findet sich in hohenlohischen Urkunden aus dem Jahr 1252. Geroldshausen war Bestandteil des Rittergutes der Freiherren Wolffskeel von Reichenberg, das zum Fränkischen Ritterkreis gehörte. Es wurde durch das Großherzogtum Würzburg mediatisiert und fiel mit diesem 1814 an Bayern. Im Jahr 1818 entstand die politische Gemeinde.
