Lägerdorf ist eine vorwiegend industriell geprägte Gemeinde im Kreis Steinburg in Schleswig-Holstein. Seit dem 1. April 2003 gehört sie zum Amt Breitenburg. Der Ort wird durch die Zementfabrik dominiert, die im flachen Umland schon von Weitem sichtbar ist.
Lägerdorf liegt etwa fünf Kilometer südöstlich von Itzehoe an der Bundesautobahn 23 von Hamburg nach Itzehoe.
Auch gibt es eine, als „Kreidebahn“ bezeichnete, Bahnstrecke zwischen Lägerdorf und Itzehoe, die nur für den Güterverkehr benutzt wird.
Die direkte Umgebung des Ortes prägt die Zementindustrie in Form von Kreidegruben .
