Niebüll ist eine Kleinstadt und Luftkurort im Kreis Nordfriesland in Schleswig-Holstein. Seit 2008 ist Niebüll Sitz des Amtes Südtondern. Besondere Bekanntheit erlangt die Stadt in der Funktion als Ausgangsort des Autozugverkehrs Niebüll–Westerland auf dem nordfriesischen Festland.
Das Stadtgebiet von Niebüll erstreckt sich im Norden des Naturraums Nordfriesische Marsch. Südöstlich fließen die Wasser der Lecker Au vom Geestrand beim betitelnden Ort Richtung Südwesten vorbei ins Nordfriesisches Wattenmeer der Nordsee.
