Zülpich ist eine Stadt in der Börderegion in der Voreifel im Rheinland. Sie gehört zum Kreis Euskirchen im Regierungsbezirk Köln in Nordrhein-Westfalen. Die einstige Römerstadt mit dem lateinischen Namen Tolbiacum existiert bereits seit dem 1. Jahrhundert v. Chr. und war wiederum im 5. Jahrhundert n. Chr. Austragungsort der Schlacht von Zülpich, die zu einem feststehenden Begriff in der europäischen Geschichtsschreibung wurde. Zülpich birgt ferner eine Vielzahl historischer Kulturdenkmäler, zu denen auch das einzige deutsche Museum der Badekultur gehört.
