Das Lustschloss Favorite am Mainzer Rheinufer war eine bedeutende barocke Anlage im kurfürstlichen Mainz mit aufwändigen Gartenanlagen und Wasserspielen. Erbaut wurde die Favorite in mehreren Abschnitten, beginnend mit dem Jahr 1700. Fertiggestellt wurde sie im Wesentlichen um das Jahr 1722. Ihr Bauherr, Lothar Franz von Schönborn Kurfürst von Mainz, entstammte einer der bedeutendsten fränkisch-mittelrheinischen Adelsfamilien der damaligen Zeit und war Bauherr vieler barocker Gärten und Paläste. Das Lustschloss Favorite wurde während der Belagerung von Mainz 1793 in den Koalitionskriegen vollständig zerstört.
