Die Schön Klinik Hamburg Eilbek ist ein Akutkrankenhaus in privater Trägerschaft im Hamburger Stadtteil Barmbek-Süd. Mit 734 Betten und fast 1.600 Mitarbeitern ist es das fünftgrößte Krankenhaus in Hamburg und zugleich akademisches Lehrkrankenhaus der Universität Hamburg.
Die Irren-, Heil- und Pflegeanstalt Friedrichsberg wurde am 20. Oktober 1864 unter dem Direktor Ludwig Meyer nach dreijähriger Bauzeit eröffnet und galt damals als moderne Einrichtung für psychische Krankheiten. Erstmals in Deutschland wurden die Patienten nicht mehr weggeschlossen, sondern nach dem Prinzip einer zwangsfreien Behandlung betreut. 1908 gab es hier bereits 1400 Patienten.
