Der Ausbildungsbereich Panzertruppen ist eine Ausbildungseinrichtung der Bundeswehr in Munster. Organisatorisch ist er Teil es Ausbildungszentrums Munster und insbesondere verantwortlich für die Ausbildung und Erziehung der Offiziere und Unteroffiziere des Truppengattungsverbundes Panzertruppen, zu denen die beiden Truppengattungen Panzertruppe und die Panzergrenadiertruppe zählt. Von 1957 bis 1963 und erneut von 1991 bis zum 30. September 2007 trug der Bereich den Namen Panzertruppenschule . Um den traditionellen Begriff zu erhalten, wurde die Liegenschaft, in der der Ausbildungsbereich stationiert ist, in „Kaserne Panzertruppenschule“ umbenannt.
Der Ausbildungsbereich Panzertruppen ist für die Ausbildung zum Truppführer, Kommandanten, Zugführer und Schießlehrer zuständig sowie für die Fortbildung von Kompaniechefs und Bataillonskommandeuren. Zudem finden Umschulungen auf neu eingeführte Waffensysteme statt.
