Bei den Ostewiesen handelt es sind um eine 121 Hektar große Niederung westlich von Kranenburg und Brobergen im Landkreis Stade. Die amtliche Bezeichnung lautet Naturschutzgebiet Wiesen- und Weidenflächen an der Oste und trägt das Kennzeichen NSG LÜ 271.
Die rechtsseits der Oste liegende Grünlandfläche wurde im Jahr 1985 unter Schutz gestellt.
