Die Schutzengelkirche ist eine katholische Kirche in Brühl im Rhein-Neckar-Kreis im Nordwesten Baden-Württembergs. Sie wurde zwischen 1894 und 1897 im neugotischen Stil erbaut.
Brühl wurde erstmals im Jahr 1157 in einer Urkunde erwähnt, die ausführt, dass der Bischof von Speyer Günther von Henneberg mit seinem Privatvermögen Brühl erwarb und dem Hochstift Speyer übergab. 1435 wurde erstmals eine Kirche erwähnt, eine Kapelle in der Nähe des heutigen Friedhofs. Der Gottesdienst wurde vom Pfarrer von Ketsch gehalten. Nach 1453 stifteten die Ritter von Handschuhsheim, die die Ortsherrschaft ausübten, eine Eigenkirche. Nach dem Aussterben der Handschuhsheimer 1600 fiel ihr Lehen zu drei Vierteln an Speyer und zu einem ein Viertel an die Kurpfalz, die mit Zwang versuchte, den reformatorischen Gottesdienst durchzusetzen. 1607 wurde dem Ketscher Pfarrer verboten nach Brühl zu kommen, trotzdem blieben mehr als zwei Drittel der Brühler katholisch.
