Das Droste-Hülshoff-Gymnasium Freiburg , Schule in öffentlicher Trägerschaft, ist ein allgemeinbildendes Gymnasium in Freiburg im Breisgau-Herdern mit sprachlichem, künstlerischem und naturwissenschaftlichem Profil.
Das Droste-Hülshoff-Gymnasium Freiburg entstand als Reaktion auf die schulische Raumnot am Ende des Zweiten Weltkrieges: Beim Bombenangriff auf Freiburg am 27. November 1944 wurden zahlreiche Schulgebäude schwer beschädigt oder waren wie das Berthold-Gymnasium gegenüber dem Freiburger Stadttheater ganz von der Bildfläche verschwunden. Nur die Gebäude des Katholischen Instituts in der Eisenbahnstraße und das des Friedrich-Gymnasiums am Ludwig-Aschoff-Platz blieben verschont.
