Bad Harzburg ist ein Kopfbahnhof im niedersächsischen Kurort Bad Harzburg. Der Bahnhof ist der südliche Endpunkt der 1841 fertiggestellten Strecke aus Braunschweig, die als erste staatlich betriebene Eisenbahnstrecke Deutschlands gilt. Zusätzlich ist der Bahnhof auch Endpunkt zweier weiterer Strecken aus Oker und Ilsenburg .
Der Bahnhof befindet sich nördlich der Harzburger Innenstadt auf einer Höhe von rund 328 Meter über Normalnull. Die Bahnhofsgleise verlaufen in nordwest-südöstlicher Richtung. Die Anlage wird im Süden durch die Dr.-Heinrich-Jasper-Straße/Herzog-Julius-Straße begrenzt, im Osten und Norden von der Straße Am Güterbahnhof und im Westen von der Badestraße.
