Die Carolabrücke ist eine der vier Elbbrücken in der Dresdner Innenstadt. Sie wird im Süden in der Altstadt durch den Rathenauplatz und im Norden in der Inneren Neustadt durch den Carolaplatz begrenzt.
Sie ist nach Carola von Wasa-Holstein-Gottorp , der Gemahlin von König Albert, benannt. Von 1971 bis 1991 trug die Brücke nach dem sächsischen Ministerpräsidenten und Dresdner Oberbürgermeister Rudolf Friedrichs den Namen Dr.-Rudolf-Friedrichs-Brücke. An der unterstromigen Seite des Altstädter Widerlagers ist bis heute eine entsprechende Namenstafel vorhanden.
