Auf einem Hügel erhebt sich weithin sichtbar die Rekener Turmwindmühle. Sie gehört zu den schönsten und ältesten ihrer Art in Westfalen. Auf einem dicken Stumpf aus Bruchsteinen ruht die Kappe mit den mächtigen Flügeln, die immerhin eine Spannweite von 22 Metern besitzen. Sie konnten mit Hilfe des "Krühstertes" (Drehschwanz) in die richtige Windrichtung gedreht werden. Nach gründlicher Renovierung richtete der Heimatverein Reken 1972 in der Mühle ein Museum ein.
