Von Rothenburg aus fährst du auf dem Radweg entlang der Straße bis nach Geheege. Vorbei an der Wasserscheide geht es nach Biehain. Ein Badeabstecher an heißen Tagen ist zeitlich natürlich immer drin. Die Tour führt über Horka (Wehrkirche nicht verpassen – siehe Rundtour Niesky) nach Niesky. Aus dem Stadtzentrum heraus ist es nicht weit bis zum Stausee Quitzdorf. Du fährst über die Staumauer auf dem ausgeschilderten Radweg in Richtung Kolm. Am Zeltplatz kannst du dich an einem Kiosk stärken. Von Spoitz fährts du weiter in nördliche Richtung Petershain. Von dort geht es auf einer befestigten Straße zwischen Fischteichen hindurch nach Kosel. Danach führt eine wenig befahrene Straße nach Trebus. Von Trebus aus geht es auf ruhigen Straßen über Spreehammer bis nach Rothenburg.
