Sie wandern um den gesamten See auf einem schmalen Wanderweg und gelangen nach ca. 4,5 km wieder zum Ausgangspunkt. Unterwegs gibt es viel Sehenswertes zu entdecken. Viele Infotafeln und Erkundungsspiele für Kinder sind rund um den See platziert. Sie möchten die Kirche in Oeversee besichtigen? Dann biegen Sie auf Höhe der Aussichtsplattform links ab Richtung Oeversee, wandern an einem landwirtschaftlichen Betrieb vorbei und erreichen die Kirche nach Überquerung der Straße "Am Oeverseering". Wenn Sie möchten, können Sie nach dieser Runde anschließend auf dem ausgeschilderten "Jens-Thaysen-Weg" weiterwandern. Sehenswert:Sankelmarker SeeSt. Georg Kirche in OeverseeAkademie Sankelmark
