Fuliola[1] ist eine spanische Gemeinde in der Provinz Lleida, autonome Gemeinschaft Katalonien, mit einer Fläche von 11,1 km², einer Bevölkerung von 1225 Einwohnern und einer Bevölkerungsdichte von 110,36 Einwohnern/km². Bis zur Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts wurde sie Fuliola und Almenara Baja genannt.[1]
Was die Herkunft ihres Namens betrifft, gibt es zwei Versionen. Eine Version besagt, dass er vom Arabischen al-folia stammt, was Ort bedeutet. Eine andere Version besagt, dass ihr Name von „Blatt“ kommt, weshalb auf ihrem Wappen ein Blatt abgebildet ist.
