Ulldecona ist eine der zwei südlichsten Gemeinden der Comarca Montsià, der Provinz Tarragona und ganz Kataloniens.
Im Jahr 2008 hatte die Gemeinde 6987 Einwohner. Die Landwirtschaft, insbesondere Oliven, Mandeln und Karoben sowie Marmor-Steinbruch in der Serra de Godall bilden den größten Wirtschaftszweig.
