Die Ruinen der Masía von Can Bassoles (laut der konsultierten Kartografie Can Passoles) liegen im Tal von Sentiu. Im Mittelalter war sie als Mas de Fonts Noves bekannt, wegen einer kleinen Quelle, die einige Meter weiter unten als die bestehende Konstruktion lag. Bereits 1553 erscheinen Hinweise auf den Besitzer dieser Masía, Joan Serra vom Mas de Fontnovas, und das Haus gehörte bis etwa 1700 zur Familie Serra. Zu dieser Zeit heiratet Isabel Serra Marian Bassoles und übernimmt den Namen des neuen Familienoberhaupts. An einigen seiner Wände sind Stücke des Opus Spicatum zu sehen, einer Bauweise in Form von Fischgräten.
