Can Masdeu ist ein besetztes soziales Zentrum,[1] Wohnheim und Gemeinschaftsgarten im Park von Collserola am Stadtrand von Barcelona.
Das Gebäude war ein ehemaliges Lepraheim von San Pablo, das 53 Jahre lang verlassen war, bevor es zu seiner endgültigen Räumung kam. Der Ort wurde 2002 berühmt, als die Besetzer mit Ketten und auf Tripods ihrer Räumung widerstanden. Während eines dreitägigen Widerstands war die Polizei unfähig, die Besetzer zu räumen, was zu einem Gerichtsverfahren führte: Die Eigentümer gewannen den Prozess nach drei Jahren, aber es gab bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt keine Räumungsanordnung.[2]
