Santa Maria de Porqueres ist eine romanische Kirche aus dem 12. Jahrhundert, gelegen in Porqueres am westlichen Ufer des Banyolessees in Katalonien. Sie wird von vielen als Juwel der romanischen Kunst in Katalonien betrachtet. Santa Maria von Porqueres repräsentiert ein nahezu ideales Beispiel der romanischen Kirchenarchitektur in Katalonien. Aus diesem Grund erhielt die Kirche das Label „Monument von nationaler Bedeutung“ des spanischen Staates. Die Kirche von Santa Maria de Porqueres befindet sich auf einem schmalen Hügel am westlichen Ufer des Banyolessees. Dieser Standort wurde von den ersten Siedlern gewählt, um Überschwemmungen des Wohngebiets und der Kirche zu verhindern. Die erste Erwähnung einer Kirche an diesem Standort stammt aus dem Jahr 906 n. Chr. Die heutige Kirche wurde am 5. April 1182 geweiht.
