Die Burg von Saix erhebt sich über die Ortschaft Saix und dominiert einen Felsen in der Nähe des Flusses Vinalopó.
Die Burg von Saix durchlief verschiedene Bauphasen, bis sie das Erscheinungsbild erreichte, das wir heute betrachten. Viele Autoren sind der Meinung, dass ihr heutiges Bauwerk aus dem 14. Jahrhundert stammt, obwohl an diesem selben Ort bereits in muslimischer Zeit ein Alcázar existierte, der ebenfalls den Namen Saix trug. Der älteste Teil der Burg ist der Nordbereich, und der modernste Teil, der dem Torturm von Homenatge entspricht.
